A select group of outstanding songwriters and poets
with songs that will touch your heart
and tickle your funny-bone.

Sandy Reay is the Colorado Sandstorm. An award-winning songwriter, she works with highly-talented songwriters and musicians to create songs and poems you want to listen to over and over again.

Welcome to Buddy Mondlock. He and Sandy co-wrote a song, Broken Rear-View Mirror. Buddy laid down the initial studion tracks. You can get a sneak preview of the song from his initial phone recording.

Welcome to Melinda A. Shemith. She incuded recorded spoken word prose and poetry from Deb Ewing, Sandy Reay, and others in her immersive electronic music to create "Depression Is...," on NeurOnFire, her newest album.

Welcome to Dan Navarro. After years, he and Sandy Reay co-wrote a song, I'll Watch and Wait. Do NOT look for the recording to be available soon.

Sandy Reay's flash fiction story, Damn The Dream, was published in The Pikes Peak Writers' Anthology, Dream. Look for the book in book stores and e-books. Check out Dreamcatcher and My Dream.

After a decade, we have a demo of Last Night's the Last Night, written by Sandy Reay and J.J. Fraser, with lyrics and alternate words. Thanks to Rona Golfen, RonaPhoto for her photograph for this song.

Sandy Reay contributed to a musical project currently in the works. When the project is done, we'll have links to to it. Watch this site for more info on this emotionally important project.

We have a new version of the demo of Bound By the Rain. We cleaned up the guitar and vocal tracks, and Spencer Pyne added a fabulous bass track. You can read a new version of the lyrics.

Thanks to Rona Golfen, RonaPhoto for her photographs used on Free Fall, I'll Hold You Close, and Woman Warrior.

Thanks to Deb Ewing for her photograph used on Trouble's Coming Down the Line.

We've made a lot of changes to the site recently, adding Poems, Cowboy Poems, and Songs, adding images for the songs and poems, reworking the Feedback, Songs, and Poems pages, and updating this page.

Most important, we're writing songs (and poems and stories), cleaning up old recordings, and and hoping to get more songs recorded soon.

Unfortunately, CD Baby chose to shut down CD and digital download sales in March 2020, and we haven't found an online shop for CDs yet. We aren't traveling and performing as much as usual, and the Post Office raised the price to mail CDs. We hope to find a digital dowload site and scrounge up the time to make the move. Thanks for your patience.
