Valley Bluegrass Festival in late September,
1996. My Acura broke down outside Ellsworth,
KS. The car was towed back to Salina,
and I spent 4 days in a Howard Johnson
Motel while it was being fixed. I could
see a winter snow storm building up
in the West. I wanted to get home before
I got caught in a blizzard: wishing
I was Already Gone."
